Hello from NAWFest!
It's 6am, Saturday morning, and Matt and I are on our way to the local WalMart in Oneont for provisions and, hopefully, some Internet access, so we can update.
Here's what's happened, so far:
We arrived at the check-in for NAWFest at about 8 am friday morning. Matt got signed up for the Rodeo and for the Waterfall competition.
The waterfall comp started at about 11am. About 75 people competed in the competition, to see who could do the craziest trick off of the twenty foot tall waterfall.
We saw a lot of familiar faces at the competition, and met some new friends. We'll update the winners after we've done our fact checking.
after the competition, we hitched a ride back to the checkin and drove into beautiful Guntersville for lunch. (That's pronounced Gunners-Vull, byt he way.)
Ok, we're at WalMart. More
later.
And, we're back. We've got stuff to display our clothes, and some water. And sunscreen. My dome got cooked yesterday.
But the big purchase was the 1 gig SD card for the helmet cam. Yeah, that's right, helmet cam footage from the Ramp O' Doom!

Greetings from lovely Alabama.
We made it. Matt went over the waterfall 5 times. Good stuff. We're in a booth next to the Riot guy's. They're doing karaoke. It's as good as you would expect. We're having problems with our mobile internet connection, so i'm having to update from the bell phone. We'll update more tomorrow morning when we in into town. Have a good one!

Watch Out, Alabama, Here We Come
Attention all motorists between Nixa, MO and Cleveland, Al: Get out of our way! We're heading down South for what promises to be a crazy weekend in Alabama.
NAWFest, the North Alabama Whitewater Festival, is this weekend March 9th-11th.
We'll be there with t-shirts and hats to sell, and tricks to throw off of the 20 foot waterfall.
